PANEL COMPOSITIONS

Diptychs, triptychs, and polyptychs are panel formats consisting of two, three, or multiple separate panels, respectively. This format offers several advantages over single images: Each panel can represent a different moment of the narrative, providing me with a broader context and deeper exploration of the subject matter. By juxtaposing images side by side, I have endeavored to create a visual continuity or contrast between them. Panels allow me to explore spatial relationships within a composition. These composites, hopefully, become more visually engaging and dynamic. Also, most notably, it is inherent that the composition interacts with the viewer when presented as a cohesive whole in its aesthetic impact and appeal.
